ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ student lands paid internship with the NFLβs Buffalo Bills

Andrea Gosper (Health Sciences, β19) will head to the Buffalo Bills training camp this July to begin working with the teamβs scouting department.
Gosper, an intern with the ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ football coaching staff, has accepted a year-long, paid internship with the Bills.
Earlier this year she was invited by the National Football League to take part in its Womenβs Careers in Football Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The forum helps the NFL identify qualified women to join its next generation of leaders.
While attending the forum Gosper met the Billsβ general manager, Brandon Beane, and assistant general manager, Joe Schoen.
A few weeks later she received a call offering her the position.
βItβs her energy and excitement,β Schoen told the . βJust being around her, you see a very upbeat personality and her passion for football. She helped coach at ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ last fall, and for her to be part of something theyβre starting there, itβs kind of like what weβre doing here β weβre trying to build something here.β
Gosper says her time with the ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ football team prepared her for this opportunity. She worked with the offensive scout team and broke down practice and game video.
βBeing here exposed me to a lot of areas of football, and that really helped me,β she explained to the Press Herald. βThat has led me to being able to open many doors.β
Despite being a lifelong New England Patriots' fan, Gosper says her allegiance will be with the Bills while she's working with the team.
"I love the Patriots, but I'm there to do a job," Gosper told . "When I'm there, I'm all Bills. You have to be 100 percent in."
Gosper reports to Bills training camp July 22, in Rochester, New York.
