U.S. News & World Report lists ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ among Best Universities in the North

The ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ has been named one of the βBest Universitiesβ in the North by U.S. News and World Report, rising three spots from last yearβs ranking in the Best Regional Universities category for the North in βAmericaβs Best Collegesβ listings.
U.S. News & World Report uses a broad range of indicators to determine its ratings, including assessment by administrators at peer institutions; retention and graduation rates; faculty resources, which takes into account class size, faculty salary, student-faculty ratio, proportion of faculty who have obtained the highest degree in their field and the proportion of faculty who are full time; financial resources; student selectivity, which considers acceptance rate, admissions test scores (such as the SAT or ACT) and the percentage of freshmen who graduated in the top quarter of their high school class; and alumni giving rates.
ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ President Danielle Ripich stated that βΒιΆΉΒγΑΔβs rank among the top universities in the northern United States by U.S. News & World Report demonstrates the excellence and dedication of the universityβs faculty, the high caliber of students it attracts and the growing recognition of ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ as an upper-tier institution of higher education.β
That recognition is, indeed, on the rise, as the announcement of ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔβs grade in the U.S. News & World Report listing was preceded in August by the universityβs inclusion in the Princeton Reviewβs Best 381 Colleges and in July by its appearance in both Forbesβ list of Americaβs Top Colleges for 2016 and MONEY magazineβs Best Colleges for Your Money.
