Meghan May, Ph.D., associate professor of biomedical sciences in the ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, was interviewed by the Portland Press Herald about the flaws in the tests currently being used for Zika virus.

The article discussed a lab in Westbrook, Maine working to develop an antibody that could be used in diagnostic tests kits. β€œWith an antibody, it’s much less likely the virus is going to escape detection,” May said. She published research on Zika in September.
