Several media outlets from around the world have picked up the story of tiger shark research conducted by James Sulikowski, Ph.D., professor of Marine Sciences at the ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ.

The articles discuss how Sulikowski uses sonogram technology to study the sharks’ reproductive behavior. As seen on β€œShark Week” on Discovery, Sulikowski, collaborator Neil Hammerschlag and their research team applied an ultrasound to a 12Β½-foot tiger shark named Emily. The pregnant shark showed several pups, approximately 40-45 centimeters in total length.

Sulikowski’s β€œShark Week” episode, titled β€œTiger Beach,” aired on June 26, 2016 on the Discovery Channel.
