Megan Landry interviewed about the demand for trained health informatics professionals

Megan Landry, M.H.A., B.S.N., program manager for the ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔβs health informatics program in the Online College of Graduate and Professional Studies, was recently interviewed for an article about the growing field of data scientist jobs in health care.
The article, titled, βDesperately Seeking Data,β details the need for trained information technology professionals who have a clinical background. Landry, who helped launch ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔβs Master of Science in Health Informatics degree, said employers are already calling. βTheyβre pleading,β she said, βfor employees or interns with experience in healthcare data analytics or some variation.β
