Â鶹ÂãÁÄ and Deering High's global initiatives partnership covered by the Forecaster

The Forecaster on Jan. 29th ran a story on the new partnership between Deering High School and Â鶹ÂãÁÄ's Global Initiatives Program.

As a result of the new partnership, Deering students will be able to attend lectures by international experts at Â鶹ÂãÁÄ’s Portland campus.  Â鶹ÂãÁÄ students who have travelled abroad will also share their experiences with Deering students.  Â鶹ÂãÁÄ faculty will provide professional development for Deering’s staff on topics such as the importance of developing a global outlook. Â鶹ÂãÁÄ's Associate Provost for Global Initiatives, Anouar Majid, Ph.D., was quoted in the story.
