Tonight's art show opening of work by Stephen Burt, Deborah Randall and Andy Rosen covered by Journal Tribune
The on Dec. 15, 2011 published a story on an art exhibit titled "In Nature," opening tonight (Dec. 16th) and featuring the work of ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ faculty members Stephen Burt, Deborah Randall and Andy Rosen.
The exhibition celebrates the grand opening from 5-8 p.m. of the Engine Exhibition Hall at 265 Maine Street, Biddeford.
βPart of Engineβs mission is to create a bridge between ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ and the downtown,β said Tammy Ackerman, executive director of Engine. βWeβre interested in bringing students, professors and parents downtown β this will increase the value and popularity of the downtown.β
βThe collaboration between Engine and ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ is an ongoing one ... and has created a great opportunity for students to see their work in a professional setting and make a contribution to the culture of the community,β said Burt, who is associate professor and chair of the Department of Creative and Fine Arts. Randall and Rosen, are adjunct faculty in the department.
