Beth De Wolfe, Camille Smalley interviewed for Courier story

Professor Elizabeth De Wolfe, Ph.D., was interviewed in a Nov. 5, 2009 Biddeford-Saco-OOB Courier story about a Saco Museum exhibition on the lives of factory girls that was created by ΒιΆΉΒγΑΔ alumnus Camille Smalley '08, program and education manager at Saco Museum. β€œThe biggest challenge of these mill girls was their newfound independence,” DeWolfe said. Smalley designed the exhibit to evoke the interior of a factory girl boardinghouse bedroom from the 1840s. De Wolfe's most recent book is The Murder of Mary Bean and Other Stories, a study of a Saco factory girl.
